One record, wherever you find it
The artwork page and API share a source record. Download packages retain the source observation used when their immutable files were prepared. Museum attributions, date ranges and gaps are preserved. Primary source artist identities are not merged on name alone.

Our local builder prepares images, palettes, file checksums and catalogue releases. WordPress on 20i serves the app and stores account collections. Published records and image downloads remain available when the builder is off.
Visual search
Similar-artwork lists use precomputed image features when an index is available. A new description, photograph or crop is a private queued job. The current worker is offline. Similarity is not an authenticity judgment.

The catalogue includes all records in the three published bulk exports imported for this release. The Met export dates from June 2023, Chicago from February 2025, and Cleveland from September 2026; these are source snapshots, not a claim of live museum completeness. Museum-hosted previews, prepared downloads and visual-search coverage are distinct. Visual search currently covers the prepared image library.
